Objectives
General Objective:
Develop theoretical and practical skills on green hydrogen as an energy vector, with a focus on its use in different forms of mobility.

Specific Objectives:
• Understand the fundamentals of hydrogen as an energy vector in the transport sector.
• Identify the types of hydrogen-powered vehicles and their main components.
• Learn refueling procedures and safe operation practices.

Program
P1 – Types of Propulsion
• Hydrogen internal combustion engines.
• Electric motors.

P2 – Applications by Transport Sector
• Road mobility applications (light vehicles, heavy vehicles, logistics, urban and intercity buses).
• Railway, maritime, and aviation applications.
• Technological maturity and infrastructures.
• Challenges, opportunities, and trends.

P3 – Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV)
• General architecture of FCEV vehicles.
• Light-duty vehicles.
• Passenger heavy-duty vehicles.
• Freight heavy-duty vehicles.

P4 – Refueling Stations
• Types of refueling stations.
• Operation of refueling stations.
• Logistics and road transport.
• Safety and international standards.

Evaluation Methodology
Work carried out independently (with occasional guidance from the instructors).
