Objectives
This Curricular Unit presents itself as a dynamic space for critical thinking, artistic development, and rigorous research practices. Therefore, it will be organized with the goals in mind:
A. To develop and refine individual research questions and methodologies specific to art-based research.
B. To critically analyze and evaluate diverse research methodologies relevant to artistic practice and inquiry (e.g., practice-led research, autoethnography, critical theory);
C. To explore and apply appropriate research ethics principles within art-based research contexts;
D. To stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange between artists and researchers;
E. To foster a culture of critical dialogue and peer feedback on research proposals, works-in-progress, and completed projects;
F. To develop skills in grant writing, publication, and other forms of professional dissemination.
The learning objectives of this course unit are in line with SDGs 4, 5 and 10.

Evaluation Methodology
The evaluation of the Curricular Unit presupposes the following criteria:
1. Proposal of the research project, focusing on the theme(s) and methodology(ies) considered appropriate for the research project (70%).
2. Presentation of the research project proposal (30%).
