The Center develops its own research projects as well as collaborative projects with national and international institutions, promoting:

• Systematic studies of archaeological and paleontological materials;

• Research in archaeobotany and other areas of archaeosciences;

• Fieldwork, survey, and scientific excavation;

• Comparative osteological and taxonomic analysis;

• Production of specialized scientific cartography;

• Publication of articles in national and international scientific journals;

• Participation in conferences and scientific meetings;

• Development of research networks and institutional cooperation.
