Objectives
Students in this course should achieve the following objectives:
- Develop an entrepreneurial attitude through understanding business objectives and behaviors;
- Understand and structure the entire process of surveying and analyzing business opportunities;
- Define criteria for evaluating the potential of a new business and the resources needed to develop and implement it;
- Develop financial analysis tools needed to analyze and calculate financing needs and to prepare forecasts of the future profitability of a new business;
- Identify sources of financing for new businesses;
- Understand the role of project team members in planning and launching a new business, and the type of partners that a prospective entrepreneur should seek to develop his or her business idea;
- Ensure access to inclusive, quality and equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. (Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, according to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015).

3. Methodologies for choosing a project
3.1. Analysis of the potential of the promoter and the idea

3.3. Market research
4. Preparation of a business plan
4.1. The importance of the business plan
4.2. Formalization of the business plan
5. Project financing
5.1. Financial planning and sources of financing
5.3. Financial institutions
6. Practical application of entrepreneurship
6.1. Processes and practices of different companies: case studies

Evaluation Methodology
A) Presentation and Report of Analysis/Business Ideas for Incubation (30%);
B) Presentation of the Business Plan and Final Project Report (70%).
Students who do not obtain a final grade of 10 (ten) points will be admitted to the Exam. The Exam will consist of a written test that will focus on the analysis of a Business Plan.

Teaching Method
The course is taught using theoretical and practical classes, in which the core material is presented and discussed, with the presentation of case studies that support the theoretical material.
Students' projects are also discussed.
