Objectives
It is intended that students acquire knowledge that supports a holistic understanding of artistic programming and its social, economic, and cultural dimensions, as well as the history of Performing Arts. Understanding the role of the Artistic/Cultural Programmer is crucial. Students will also recognize the impact of this type of approach on different territories and how these should be organized considering their intended objectives. Another goal of this course unit is to equip students with tools and knowledge that allow them to develop an artistic program, addressing all essential moments and processes and the target audiences.

Evaluation Methodology
The assessment will consist of different elements that, together, contribute to the final grade. The first practical assignment will be done in groups, representing 20% of the evaluation, and will be accompanied by a presentation, which will account for 15%. The second practical assignment, of an individual nature, will contribute 25% to the final grade, with its presentation worth 15%. Participation and the work developed throughout the semester will be evaluated in the form of a report, making up 25% of the total grade.

Teaching Method
Lectures for theoretical and conceptual framework. Theoretical-practical classes aimed at creating and evaluating case studies, reading documents, and discussing the presented reality, as well as evaluating examples.
