Objectives
To equip students with the technical and operational skills necessary to collect, structure, analyze, and present data efficiently, applying them directly to the context of Civil Protection and Emergency Management.

Program
1. Microsoft Word: Structuring Technical Documents and Emergency Plans
- Styles and Advanced Formatting;
- Index Automation;
- Break and Section Management;
- References and Captions;
- Review and Collaboration Tools;
- Templates;
2. Microsoft Excel: Logistics Management, Inventories and Data Processing
- Data Structuring and Cleaning;
- Basic and Conditional Formulas;
- Date and Time, Logical and Mathematical Functions;
- Conditional Formatting;
- Operational Charts;
3. Microsoft Power BI: Dashboards and Decision Support
- Introduction to Business Intelligence (BI);
- Data Import and Linking;
- Data Transformation (Power Query);
- Basic Data Modeling;
- Creating Interactive Dashboards:
- Cards;
- Dynamic Charts;
- Data Slicers;
- Geographic Visualization (Maps).

Evaluation Methodology
The course attendance assessment consists of completing evaluative exercises (100%). The final grade for the course results from the weighted average of the various assessment points. The student obtains approval in the course, being exempt from the exam, in accordance with the provisions of Points 11 and 12 of Article 11 of the UPT Academic Regulations.

The exam/resit exam assessment consists of completing a practical project (100%). The student obtains approval in the course, in accordance with the provisions of Points 11 and 12 of Article 11 of the UPT Academic Regulations.
