Objectives
The aim of the course is for students to develop competences that will enable them to:
Relate the production function to the other functional areas of the company;
Apply the fundamental models, techniques and methods developed in the field of Production Management;
Implement SPC (Statistical Process Control) methodologies;
Use IT resources to apply fundamental production management techniques.

Evaluation Methodology
The assessment consists of two parts, namely a written test (i) and practical work to be carried out during the semester (ii). Both parts (i and ii) are worth 50 per cent of the final grade. Approval in the course requires a mark of 10 or more in the written test (i).
