Holders of a master's degree are qualified to proceed to the third cycle of studies, for a doctoral course in Conservation and Restoration or in another area related to Cultural Heritage. In fact, a master's degree is only the necessary training to practice the profession of conservator-restorer; it is recommended that they continue their higher education studies.
