Objectives
Understand the basic principles and concepts of physics and the role of physics in science and engineering. Develop skills to analyse and solve problems in the field of mechanics with several idealised bodies.

Program
1. General Concepts: Measures and units; International Unit System; Measurements and errors.
2. Kinematics.
3. Dynamics.
4. Work and energy.
5. Rigid body, statics and elasticity.
6. Hydrostatics.
7. Vibratory and undulatory motion.
8. Calculation of support reactions and efforts.
9. Mass geometry.

Evaluation Methodology
Evaluation:
Written test ( Frequency, Exam or appeal exam)
Approval with 9.5 points or more out of 20 points.
