Prerequisites
No prerequisites are required, but basic knowledge of management and economics is recommended.

Objectives
1. Understand the origins of strategic thinking;
2. Study various schools of strategic thought;
3. Analyze strategic alternatives for companies, taking into account the specific nature of each organization and the characteristics of the industries and clusters in which they operate;
4. Identify the best strategies for a company;
5. Develop critical thinking regarding strategic analysis, formulation, and planning;
6. Learn to manage information, information systems, and their application within a company's strategy;
7. Develop management analysis capabilities, focusing on information and its integration into corporate strategy.

4.2. SWOT analysis;
4.3. Value chain.
5. Strategy formulation
5.1. Business definition;
5.2. The five basic competitive strategies.
6. Aligning strategy to adapt to specific sector and company situations.
7. Concepts, challenges, and changes in information systems.
8. Management analysis, incorporating information and integration into corporate strategy.
9. Case studies

Evaluation Methodology
1) Continuous assessment:
- 1written test: 50% (minimum mark of 8);
- Practical assignment with presentation: 50%;
2) Non-continuous assessment:
- Written test: 100%;
