Evaluation Methodology
Period Frequency (Continuous):
- Current affairs tests and assignments developed in class - 40%
- Feature Interview (written and video) - individual - 20% - March 31, 2026
- Feature Report (written with photo gallery) - individual - 20% - April 30, 2026
- Multimedia Report (Sponsored Content) - group - 20% - May 31, 2026

Exam and Resit:
– Written exam - 30%
- Average of the three assignments developed throughout the semester - 30%
- Feature Report with Sponsored Content (written and photo gallery) - 20%
Submission of exam details one week before the exam, including a document with the planning and justification of the approach, all raw audio files and photos. On the day of the exam: oral explanation of the production process.

- Large business or institutional interview (written and audio) - 20%
Submission due one week before the exam, including a document justifying the choice of interviewee, script, audio (raw and edited), and photos. On the day of the exam: oral explanation of the production process.

The final result of the course unit is the weighted average of the grades obtained in the different assessment components.

The student obtains approval for the course unit, in accordance with the provisions of Points 11 and 12 of Article 11 of the IPT Academic Regulations.

Teaching Method
Promoting consultation and analysis of content produced by the media. Discussion of program topics. Monitoring journalistic production, developing the practice of different journalistic genres. Editing accompanied by assignments.

Software used in class
Wordpress and E-learning tools.
