Objectives
1- Develop management and planning strategies for the conservation of ethnographic collections.
2- Document ethnographic collections using appropriate documentation systems and collection management frameworks.
3- Develop ethically consistent conservation approaches in accordance with the cultural significance of the objects.
4- Address, through practical application, issues related to the handling, storage, and exhibition of ethnographic collections.

Evaluation Methodology
A – The assessment of the theoretical component is carried out through a written test, accounting for 40% of the final grade.
B – The assessment of the practical laboratory component accounts for 60% of the final grade. This includes active participation and work developed during laboratory sessions (20%) and an individual report on the work carried out in the practical laboratory classes (40%).
Students who obtain a final continuous assessment grade of 10 out of 20 or higher in the combined total of both components (A + B), and at least 10 out of 20 in each component, are exempt from the final examination.
The same assessment methods and criteria apply to the regular examination period, resit examination period, special examination period, and working-student examination arrangements.

Teaching Method
1- Theoretical lectures, supported by audiovisual resources and case study analysis.
2- Practical laboratory sessions, involving exercises that address the different stages involved in the preservation of ethnographic collections.
