Objectives
The aim is for students to acquire skills and knowledge regarding production management concepts, theories, and methods—ranging from procurement to production control—including cost management, maintenance management, and work task management. Students should be able to plan production or interpret and optimize existing production systems using management tools.

Program
1. Introduction:
1.1. Production Planning and Control;
1.2. Planning tools;
1.3. Work study.
2. Procurement:
2.1. Purchasing management; INCOTERMS; Receiving; Inventory management (physical, administrative, and financial);
2.2. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and procurement methods; Inventory classification.
3. Production process management:
3.1. Production management models and production typologies;
3.2. Industrial maintenance principles.
4. Production cost management:
4.1. Classification of production costs;
4.2. Investment expenses; Depreciation/Amortization;
4.3. Break-even point.
5. Lean Management (LM):
5.1. Core principles of LM;
5.2. LM tools.
6. Performance and productivity:
6.1. Production analysis tools;
6.2. Performance indicators.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous Assessment: 1 Tests (100%). Students with a classification lower than 10 (ten) are admitted to the exam.
Exam/Appeal -Written test (100%).Pass 10 (ten) points.
