Objectives
Identification, description and study of the abiotic elements with an impact in archaeological deposits. Methodologies of customary analyses applied to prehistoric sites.
Program
Introduction to geoarchaeology. Sedimentological analysis methods applied to the study of archaeological sites. The environmental and stratigraphical contexts. Fluvial, lacustrine, cave, and other deposits. Archaeometrical analysis. Sin- and post-sedimentary alterations.
