Objectives
Evaluate real management and engineering problems and design strategies for modelling and solving them using advanced software, be able to interpret the information and integrate it into mathematical models for data and risk analysis.

1. Fundamentals of Descriptive Statistics.
2. Fundamentals of Statistical Inference
3. Multivariate Linear Regression Analysis
4. Principal Components Analysis (PCA)
5. Operations Research (OR): basic concepts and their place in planning processes
6. Introduction to IBM/ILOG GAMS Software.
7. Modeling and solving linear programming problems.
