The Master's Degree in Auditing and Finance (MAF) provide a scientific, technological and social learning, supported by a programme and courses that includes contact with real situations and experiences. This cycle of studies is based on the development of a diverse set of skills and competencies that permits excellent career opportunities and pursue doctoral studies.

Objectives

The MAF aims to provide in-depth rigorous training for those who expect to engage in a professional career in auditing and finance and/or further develop previous skills combining academic expertise with know-how to respond to the needs of organizations.

This programme results from long-standing links with organizations and is based on the dualisms profession/training and quality qualifications/appropriate skills. This master's programme offers specializations in auditing and finance providing appropriate scientific grounding and fostering research projects that meet the needs of organizations.

 

Professional Goals

Holders of the master's degree in Audit and Finance are prepared to perform in such areas as:
  • Financial;
  • Auditing (working as auditors with societies for chartered certified accountants);
  • Accounting (working as auditors with societies for chartered certified accountants);
  • Financial Analysis.
