Objectives
On completion of course, students are expected to understand the basic concepts of management and the interdependencies between the various areas/functions.
Program
1. Definition of an organisation.
2. Management by objectives
3. The production function.
4. The financial function
5. The commercial function.
6. The human resources function.
Evaluation Methodology
2 written exams worth 50% each (minimum mark of 6/20). If students score less than 6/20 in the first written test, they will automatically be elligible for the exam. If they have a mark of less than 6/20 in the second written test, they will automatically be eligible for the exam, with a final mark equal to the mark for the second test. Students with a mark of less than 10/20 in the continuous assessment will be eligible for the exam.
