Objectives
Identify and control environmental risk factors. Develop skills to implement methodologies and strategies that mitigate these factors. Provide tools for reflection and critical analysis to guide the implementation of conservation programmes.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: a written test covering theoretical content (50%) and an oral group presentation (maximum three students) on laboratory practice content (50%).
Exam-based assessment: covers two components (theory and laboratory practice) as stipulated for continuous assessment.
