Objectives
1. Introduction to Chemical and Environmental Technology (CTE) based organizations. Basic principles of economy and effects on the organizations. Corporate environment and structure.
2. Market analysis techniques applied to CTE organizations. Demand potential of CTE products and services. Accessibility to raw materials and production equipment suppliers. Technological plants localization critera.
3. Principles of design, planning and project control. Types of production. Project planning tools. Design of Chemical and Environmental Technology based projects.
4. Project analysis perspectives. Project technical evaluation. Production effectiveness and efficiency concepts, indicators and optimization tools. Investment concept and methods of determination or estimative of investment in the field of Chemical and Environmental Technology. Data necessary for economic and financial analysis of projects production resources prediction. Projects evaluation and selection criteria.
Program
1. Introduction to Project in the field of Chemical and Technology (CT) based organizations. Basic principles of economy and effects on the organizations. Relationship between corporate environment and structure.
2. Market analysis techniques applied to CT organizations. Demand potential of CT products and services. Accessibility to raw materials and production equipment suppliers. Criteria to select the localization of industrial plants.
3. Principles of design, planning and project control. Types of production. Project planning tools. Design of CT based projects.
4. Project analysis perspectives. Project technical evaluation. Production effectiveness and efficiency concepts, indicators and optimization tools. Investment concept and methods of determination or estimative of investment in the field of CT. Data necessary for economic and financial analysis of projects. Production resources prediction. Projects evaluation and selection criteria.
Evaluation Methodology
Group work (30%) and written test (70%), in frequency or in exam periods, with a minimum grade of 9 in both components.
Students will be excluded from examination if they do not perform the group work during the frequency.
