Objectives
1 - Know the fundamental HRM processes in an organization.
2 - Articulate the various HRM procedures.
3 - Demonstrate autonomy in people management.
4 - Reveal a critical and reflective sense about people management.
Program
1 - Introduction to human resource management (definitions and historical topics)
2 - Strategic management of human resources: behavioral variables (concepts and good practices)
3 - Analysis and description of functions (concepts and techniques for collecting information)
4 - Recruitment (main steps)
5 - Selection (tests and interviews)
6 - Careers (career concept and types)
7 - Performance management (explanatory factors, classification, evaluation methods)
8 - Compensation systems (main components)
9 - Training and skills development (time, group work, communication, etc.)
10 - Organizational disorders (absenteeism, stress, burnout, etc.)
11 - Discussion of case studies
Evaluation Methodology
Periodic Assessment: written tests (50%) and works developed and presented in class(50%). Students whose grade is equal to or higher than 10 values are approved and exempted from the exam. Examination times: written test (100%).
