Prerequisites
Objectives
Students are expected to become familiar with the fundamental laws of dynamics and to be able to think rationally, applying laws to concrete physical situations; obtaining, analyzing and understanding the various results and their validity's limits.
Program
The basic concepts and principles of the mechanics of the material point are introduced, starting with: 1 - Systems of Units. 2- Observation and measurement. Your records. 3- The various branches of physics and their applications. 4-Kinematics of the material point. 5- Dynamics of the material point. Rigid body.
Evaluation Methodology
1-Individual resolution of the exercise sheets and participation in the classes; (20%).
2-Written tests (oral in exceptional cases) - two frequencies (continuous evaluation) and final exam in which the knowledge and skills acquired by the student are evaluated; (80%).
