It seeks that the future professional when they have to intervene in a building, notice when it was built, understand its cultural importance , recognizes its constructive system, the structural system, the lack of comfort conditions and the nomenclature of the different building elements

Description of construction systems, structural systems (operation and evolution), comfort conditions (thermal, natural light and noise) and nomenclature of building elements
Recommendations on how best to intervene to ensure the best conditions of habitability and security against possible earthquakes (horizontal actions).

Evaluation Methodology
Evaluation: individual work on a type of building taught,
Work: first part - description of the building and nomenclature; second part - recommendations on how best to intervene to ensure the best conditions of habitability and safety against possible earthquakes.
If the result of the evaluation is equal to or higher than 09.5 values, there will be a waiver of exam.
The evaluation under exam will be done in the same way.
