Objectives
Provide students with knowledge of mechanical loading systems, such as beams and shafts applied for torsion, bending and cross loads. Acquisition of techniques for calculating the strength of the materials and their deformation. Provide knowledge for the design of beams and shafts in effort.

Evaluation Methodology
Assessment of knowledge through written test:
- Two frequencies one with the first part of the matter and the other with the second part, I note the algebraic mean of the frequency notes, or
- Exam.
Minimum mark of achievement 9,5 values.
