Objectives

The study program is organised around two areas of expertise corresponding to two specialisation profiles:

Applied Photography;

Photography Conservation.

In any of these areas the study program comprises:

• 2 semesters including 11 modules (a total of 60 ECTS), of which one has a strong practical component in one photography speciality of the students' choice; 3 modules are selected among available options;
• 2 semesters corresponding to 60 ECTS credits dedicated to undertake professional internship or a dissertation in photography.

Professional Goals

Prepare students to lead and coordinate teams of professional photographers, photography conservators and collection managers.

Build on previous knowledge to develop new abilities and skills Be able to deal with complex situations and develop appropriate solutions while keeping up with ethical and social responsibilities.
Students will have the opportunity to incorporate the values of this particular activity sector through a placement period, project or dissertation and further develop their academic training while applying the theoretical skills acquired.
