Approval of Journalistic Genre subject.
Objectives
To learn theoretical foundations and understand the main current journalistic issues. To develop writing abilities, which will result in journalist written contents for the laboratory newspaper (print and online). To produce an audiovisual journalistic story for the online newspaper.
Program
Module A: Current journalistic affairs
Newspaper production.
Module B: Production of a multimedia journalistic story for the online newspaper.
Evaluation Methodology
Module A:
- Journalistic content produced in classroom (30%)
- Interview (20%)
- Reportage (20%)
Module B:
- Multimedia story (30%)
Exam and Last exam: the same contents.
Bibliography
Teaching Method
Lectures and tutorials where professional subjects are analysed. Practical classes where written contexts are produced, as well as a multimedia content about a major story, like the ones produced by the newspapers for their sites.
