Forms a theoretical/practical unit with the module Representation Methods
Objectives
Students should develop the ability to understand space and represent it, use drawing in its various forms, types and supports so as to achieve a correct graphic expression. Be able to represent objects according to Portuguese (NP) and ISO standards.
Program
Representation fundamentals. Geometric constructions. Drawing paper. Stroke and lines. Accurate perspectives. Rapid perspectives. Sections and cuts. Stroke for cuts and sections. Perspective cuts. Dimensioning. Dimensioning of cut and perspective elements. Object models, construction techniques and applications.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment and final assessment comprising written test.
C= 0,5 D (0,6 Tr1+ 0,4 Tr2) + 0,5 Ex.
Tr 2- free-topic exercise >= 9,5 marks, including public discussion.
