Objectives
Present the Media panarama finding different types of formats and discourses.Identify the main editorial guidelines and look for future tendencies, having in mind the characteristics and constraints of diffentes Media companies.

Objectivs and Power of Media; Panorama of the Media; Quality journ./popular journ.; Strategies for building up informatio; Objetivity and Neutralism; Information and News as Discourse; Written Discourse; Audiovisual Discourse; Non-verbal communication; Communication through photos and images; Different representations through Media; Ethics.

Evaluation Methodology
Paper/project with a critical and original approach of one of the topics of the programme. The result will be presented in the classroom context.
