Objectives
On completion of this unit the students should have a global overview of film-making concepts and tools and have developed a critical mindset, not only towards the instruments and concepts but also towards ethical issues.
Program
1. Presentation and analysis of the work of a guest director;
2. Illustrative working methods;
3. Film exercises as part of a team, issues related with untreated materials.
4. Editing; the different editing options and the final results
5. Each director will share with students his/her own experience and working context.
Evaluation Methodology
Practical project consisting in the direction of a film.
