Objectives
It is intended that students should comprehend the basics of the composition and structure of the atmosphere and the climatic system. The student should also acquire skills that will allow a better understanding of the fundamental physical processes in meteorology and climate.
Program
1 - Introduction: the atmosphere and the climatic system
2 Radiation, physical properties of the air and atmosphere statics
3 - Atmospheric Pollution and pollutants dispersion
4 Clouds and precipitation
5 - Wind. Global, regional and local circulation
6 - Climate and climate variability
Evaluation Methodology
