Objectives
On completion of course students should _ have gained an insight into planning and decision-making processes in public administration
- have become familiar with the planning processes and the key theoretical approaches.
Program
Planning concepts; planning history; planning types; general features of the planning process; a general overview of the Portuguese planning; the different planning approaches; analysis of Portuguese cases.
Evaluation Methodology
Ongoing assessment: test and group work. Exemption from exam: weighted average mark > or = 10 grade points. Final exam: minimum mark of 10 required to pass.
