Within the scope of REALP's structural activities, its members considered the following aspects to be priorities:

Contributing to the preservation of the environment and the improvement of the quality of life of populations, an essential aspect for the sustainability of nations and the harmony of international relations;
Promoting advanced training of human resources for research, analysis, planning, and decision-making on environmental issues;
Promoting integrated research between institutions, optimizing human and material resources;
Strengthen cooperation instruments in the field of the environment, following the priority lines of action for the signatory countries of the Declaration of the 1st Interministerial Conference on the Environment of the CPLP (Lisbon Declaration, 1997);
Enable other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of the CPLP to join REALP

Respect for others, in their differences, acceptance, and integration has been the premise that has led us to work for a better, fairer, and more equitable world.

Objectives

REALP aims to promote sustainability sciences in the Portuguese language, contributing to the sustainable development of communities in Portuguese-speaking countries.
