Prerequisites
Objectives
Plan technical solutions for sound, light, and image suitable for different performance contexts, considering artistic, operational, and safety needs.
Execute the assembly, configuration, and testing of audio, lighting, and video systems, ensuring their correct operation in a performance context.
Operate technical sound, light, and image equipment and software, applying procedures adjusted to the requirements of the event and the space.
Select capture, control, programming, and dissemination techniques appropriate to the technical and performance characteristics of each production.
Evaluate the performance of technical systems and introduce adjustments that guarantee quality, reliability, and operational consistency.
Apply safety, compliance, and technical documentation standards in the development of projects and operations in a performance context.
Program
1. Technical planning of the show: reading and interpreting the technical rider; identifying sound, lighting, and image needs; resource planning, technical implementation, and workflows.
2. Sound systems: sound system architecture; digital consoles and patching; microphones and recording techniques; signal processing; feedback control; system measurement and alignment.
3. Lighting systems: fundamentals of light and visual perception; types of projectors and applications; stage lighting techniques; lighting design; programming and control with specific software.
4. Image and video applied to the show: video system configuration; fundamentals of video mapping; image software operation; integration of the visual component into the performance space.
5. Assembly, operation, and troubleshooting: system assembly and tuning; functional verification; troubleshooting; integrated operation in a real or simulated context.
6. Safety, compliance, and technical documentation: safety procedures; applicable regulatory framework; technical records; assembly, operation, and disassembly documentation.
