Objectives
At the end of the curricular unit, students will be able to:
1) Understand the importance of security for the quality of the tourist offer;
2) Know the main topics and best practices with regard to security;
3) Understand the impact of negative events on the economy.

Program
1. Introduction to tourism security;
2. The relationship between security and economy;
3. Safety in tourist facilities;
3.1. Accessibility in tourism;
3.2. Accessible and Inclusive Tourism;
4. Tourism and terrorism;
5. Violence and criminality;
6. Risk and Fear.

Evaluation Methodology
The UC will be taught with theoretical and theoretical/practical classes.
The theoretical ones will provide the conceptual and theoretical bases, supporting the practical contents. Theoretical-practical will be carried out with the analysis of case studies.
Evaluation:
Written test: (55%)
Analysis of case studies: (10%)
Practical Work: (35%)
