Objectives
1. Acquire knowledge and develop skills in terms of the biomechanics of bones, muscles and joints; 2.1 Identify movements and joint movement plans; 2.2 Develop kinematic analysis skills; 2.3 Acquire knowledge in determining an athlete's center of gravity; 2.4 Analyse the importance of balance and stability in the performance of sporting techniques; 3.1 Acquire knowledge and develop kinetic analysis skills; 3.2 Describe examples of the different categories of solutions for the biomechanical assessment of sports movement and their interrelationships; 3.3 Perspective of the different solutions for biomechanical assessment of sports movement in terms of providing feedback to the practitioner; 3.4 Develop technological innovation capabilities in sport in the area of biomechanics.

Biomechanical foundations, concepts, principles and terminology;Object and areas of study in Biomechanics;Biomechanical aspects of bone and joint structure;Biomechanical aspects of muscle function and mechanical factors that affect muscle strength;Kinematic foundations for movement assessment:Types of movement; Terminologies of plans and movements; Qualitative analysis and measurement tools; Kinetic foundations for movement assessment: Basic concepts; Mechanical loads and their effects; Quantitative analysis and measurement tools; Nature and properties of fluids: Nature of fluids;Flotation;
Data collection techniques in sport biomechanics: Qualitative data collection methods and tools; Quantitative data collection methods and tools;
Biomechanical applications in sports technology: Technological systems for obtaining biomechanical data; Data collection and analysis software.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment, participation of at least 2/3 of the classes taught is assumed - Written work 1 (40%) + Written work 2 (40%) + Oral presentation (20%); Final exam will consist of = Final exam (50%) + Oral test (50%)

Teaching Method
In theoretical classes, they will be developed in an expository manner, and in theoretical-practical classes, the aim will be to develop the syllabus, through the application of practical sheets and experimental sessions.
