Prerequisites
The student must have completed at least 70 ECTS credits.
Objectives
Students will be required to apply the skills acquired through the general and scientific training component and the technological training component in a real-world workplace, aiming for their integration into the workplace. Therefore, this training unit aims to:
- provide the development of practices that complement and consolidate the learning acquired in the other training components of the course;
- provide specific learning derived from work experience, through appropriate integration into the business environment.
Program
In this training unit, a work program will be defined that establishes the tasks to be developed by the trainee, in a real work context, at the host company - through the signing of a protocol for carrying out training in a work context between the training institution and the company.
Evaluation Methodology
According to the internship regulations, the evaluation consists of:
- 50% for the Report Evaluation;
- 30% for the Continuous Assessment Form;
- 20% for the Oral Assessment.
The final passing grade for the course is 10.

Internship in a work context, with support/tutorial guidance from the supervisor of the host company and the IPT advisor.
