Objectives
Master advanced tools 1) Word processing 2) Spreadsheets and 3) Presentations. Know how to make a report, present in public and analyze data.
Program
1. Word Processing: Microsoft Word: editing, formatting and structuring of documents, indexes; bibliography; spelling and syntax check, synonyms and translations. Review and collaborative editing; Templates and Forms creation.
2. Spreadsheet: Microsoft Excel: Functions; Graphical analysis of data; Data analysis through decision support tools.
3. Presentations: Microsoft Powerpoint: presentation of models; Inserting graphics objects; Organization charts; Videos; Animations and transitions between slides; Timer; Global models; Speaker notes; Presenter view; Record presentations.
Evaluation Methodology
Assessment will be based on:
a) Individual practical work on Word
b) Individual practical work on Excel
c) Individual practical work on PowerPoint
The final grade is the arithmetic mean of the 3 assignments.
In exam, students will have the option to only complete the assignments in which they did not achieve a passing grade.
