In recent years, the availability of increasingly powerful digital technology tools has led to their growing use in both teaching and learning. This context has been reflected in school curricula, making it necessary to offer courses that prepare participants for the correct use of the available resources.

Recently, AI has become increasingly present in the daily lives of the general population, but especially among younger people, and in particular in the lives of students at all levels of education, who have ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or other similar tools as their greatest study companions. In this sense, this course seeks to respond to this need to equip participants (e.g., teachers and students) with knowledge and skills related to the use of AI tools in teaching and learning mathematics, but also in the development of computational thinking in mathematics.

ECTS: 1
Location: Tomar.

Objectives

Develop knowledge and skills regarding Artificial Intelligence tools.

Use Artificial Intelligence tools applied to teaching and learning mathematics.

Promote critical thinking among participants regarding challenges related to the use of Artificial Intelligence.

Raise awareness of ethical issues related to Artificial Intelligence.
