Prerequisites

Objectives
• Identify storage, transmission and distribution technologies and infrastructure, including injection into natural gas networks.
• Evaluate industrial applications of hydrogen as a chemical reagent (ammonia,methanol, green steel).
• Analyze hydrogen as a fuel in mobility, combustion and CHP systems.
• Understand the conversion of hydrogen into electricity through fuel cells and their integration into microgrids.

Program
P1 – Applications as raw material
• Production of ammonia, methanol and green steel.
• Production of synthetic fuels.

P2 – Applications as a fuel
• Industrial and domestic combustion, mobility, CHP systems.
• Injection into natural gas networks (blending): technical requirements, limits and challenges.
• Gas quality monitoring.
• Equipment certification and compliance.

P3 – Conversion to Electricity and Integration into Microgrids
• Fuel cells (PEMFC, SOFC).
• Efficiency, durability and operational requirements.
• Integration into microgrids and hybrid systems (PV + H? + batteries).
• Stationary applications and backup systems.

P4 – Other applications
• High temperature industries.
• Electronics and food industry.
