Objectives
A-Know and be able to recognize the different execution processes in civil works; including execution techniques, function of materials, execution sequences, equipment involved, advantages and disadvantages of each process.
B-Understand decisions about the choice of appropriate processes and means used, as well as good implementation practices in environmental terms and good compliance with applicable legislation.
C-Introduce and familiarize students with elementary concepts, models and basic techniques for planning and managing civil works.
It is intended that students develop skills that allow them to apply a systemic approach to the interpretation of elementary problems, notably understanding elementary concepts (C1), understanding the measurement of civil construction activities (C2), interpreting activity budgets (C3), analyzing and interpret the temporal planning of contracts (C4) and understand the concept of price review (C5).
Program

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment during the contact period (frequency period) and examination:
The assessment comprises two works T1 and T2, corresponding respectively to each part of the syllabus I and II.
Each job is rated from 0 to 20 points.
The final classification of the UC corresponds to the sum of the classifications of each part with the following weights:
Final classification = T1 (70% weight) + T2 (30% weight)
Students pass (exam exemption) if the final classification is greater than or equal to 09.5 points.
