Objectives
Students should enhance their communication skills and be able to master conversations in the foreign language.
They should also be able to use vocabulary related to tourism, hotels and restauration correctly. They should also spell words correctly and have a good accent, according to the level.

Program
1. Entertainment and touristic events: animation program, information and organization of touristic events.
2.Types of tourism: mountain tourism, cultural tourism, beach tourism, nature tourism, religious tourism, health and welfare tourism, business tourism.
3. Touristic destinations: city, country, beach.
4. Tourism Marketing: touristic promotion, touristic information, fairs of tourism.
5. Patrimony and cultural diversity: guides, material and immaterial patrimony.
6. Literature, art and patrimony: literary tourism, film tourism, patrimonial tourism.
7. Tourism and market trends: touristic markets, ecological and sustainable tourism.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment (to be eligible for continuous assessment, students must attend 70% of classes):
- Active participation in class, completion of exercises and worksheets: 15%
- Written test 1: 30% (minimum mark: 8,5)
- Written test 2: 30% (minimum mark: 8,5)
- Oral exam: 25% (minimum mark: 7,5)

Periodic Assessment (working students or students covered by other legal statutes):
- Written test: 75% (minimum mark: 9,5)
- Oral exam: 25% (minimum mark: 7,5)

* Students who do not obtain a minimum grade of 9.5 in the items referred to as elements of continuous and periodic assessment, all of which are mandatory, will be admitted to the exam.

Assessment by Exam (exam, resit exam, special period assesment and grade improvement exam):
- Exam: 75% (minimum mark: 9,5)
- Oral exam: 25% (minimum mark: 7,5)
