Objectives
Understanding of the reuse and refurbishment of existing buildings.
Understanding of the technical, environmental and regulatory aspects associated with the construction, refurbishment, adaptation and reuse process.
Program
1 How to intervene in built heritage: concepts and doctrinal principles.
2 Adaptation and functional renovation of buildings: intervention strategies and methods.
3.Interventions in buildings: remodelling, reuse and functional adaptation.
Evaluation Methodology
Individual pratical work.
Eligibility to take the exam: a minimum mark of 9.5/20 exempts students from taking the exam.
Exam assessment: written test
