Objectives
1. To understand the origins of strategic thinking;
2. To study some schools of strategic thought;
3. To analyze the strategic alternatives of companies, taking into account the specificity of each organization and the characteristics of the industries and clusters in which they operate;
4. To identify the best strategies for the company;
5. To develop critical reflection regarding the analysis, formulation, and strategic planning;
6. To know how to handle information, its systems, and forms of application in a company's strategy;
7. To develop management analysis skills, with information and its integration into the company's strategy.

Evaluation Methodology
1) Continuous Assessment:
- Written exam: 50% (minimum grade of 8);
- Practical work with presentation: 50%;
2) Non-continuous Assessment:
- Written exam: 100%;

Teaching Method
Theoretical and practical classes in which the basic subject matter is presented and discussed, with case studies presented to support the theoretical material. Strategic plans will be developed and monitored throughout the classes.
