Objectives
a) Understand the photographic process: Light, the darkroom and image formation.
b) Know how to operate DSLR digital cameras technically, in all their functions;
c) Perform digital post-production work on photographic images, in bitmap image editing and manipulation software;
d) Develop a photographic project related to communication design and graphic arts.
Program
1) Light, the darkroom and image formation.
2) The camera and its technical mechanisms.
3) Objectives and photographic lenses - focal lengths and coverage planes.
4) ISO sensitivities and photometrys.
5) f and shutter values.
6) Focal length and depth of field.
7) Color management - White balance.
8) Production of jpg and raw files.
9) Digital post-production of photographic images and development of raw files.
Evaluation Methodology
earning assessment will be carried out continuously.
Theoretical and practical knowledge will be assessed through the presentation, defense and discussion of the proposed practical work and a final portfolio.
Participation (5%) and theoretical-practical exercises (45%).
Final project portfolio (50%).
Test: written test and theoretical-practical exercise (50%) + project portfolio (50%).

Presentation of theoretical content using audiovisual media.
Practical execution of exercises proposed during the semester with theoretical support. Creation, editing and preparation of documents.
