Prerequisites

Objectives
A-Identify and distinguish the different assumptions that define the domains of semantics and semantics.
pragmatic.
- deepen the knowledge about lexical semantics and their relations;
- Acquire knowledge about logical-formal and compositional semantics and about the concept of
signification;
- Acquire knowledge about the properties and relationships of meaning;
- Deepen and acquire knowledge of pragmatics, its conceptualization and autonomy as a scientific area of discourse grammar and verbal interaction;
- Recognize the importance of context

B- Develop critical capacity and learning rigorous methods of practice and analysis
linguistics, in the two areas of linguistic sciences

1. Semantics; 1.1. Object of study of Semantics and basic operative concepts.1.2. A
informational and cognitive significance of verbal language. 1.3 Sentence, statement and
proposition.1.4 Relations and properties of meaning. 1.5.Cohesion and coherence. practices
Analysis
2. Pragmatics:2.1 Object of study of Pragmatics and basic operative concepts. 2.2 Background
linguistic (co-text) and extra-linguistic context (situational). 2.3. Interlocutive dimension of the
language- Deepen the Theory of Discourse Acts. 2.3.1 Constative statements and statements
performative. 2.3.2 Principle of cooperation and conversational maxims. 2.3.3 Analysis of the
Conversation.2.4. Presupposition, Implicature and Inference.
