Objectives
1.Apply and develop knowledge and skills in the field of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
2.Apply and develop knowledge and skills to new situations in the job market.
3.Develop communication and dissemination skills for studies, research, and interventions.
Program
A.Development of a conservation and restoration project within the chosen specialization;
B.Development of holistic and multidisciplinary research and investigation related to the project's theme.
Specialties offered by the Course:
Architectural and Stone Heritage; Archaeological Heritage; Ceramics goods; Furniture; Retabulistics and Carved Wooden Artifacts; Wood Sculpture; Easel Painting; Graphic Documents; Ethnographic goods.
Evaluation Methodology
The final evaluation is composed of the following items and results from their respective weighting:
1.Submission of the project work topic proposal and multimedia computer document to support the oral presentation (10%);
2.Public oral presentation of the project's study object in Conservation and Restoration (10%);
3.Conservation and Restoration Project - Written research paper (80%).
Additional information:
-The students who obtain at least 10 points in each item will pass;
-The students who have an average of 10 points or higher will be exempt from the exam;
- Students who fulfill evaluation items 1 and 2 will be admitted to the exam;
-The students who do not fulfill evaluation items 1 and 2 will be excluded from the exam;
-In the final evaluation, in the different exam periods, all evaluation items will always be weighted;
-Any improvements will only be made to the written research paper; the other evaluation items will be considered in the final assessment.
