Objectives
Students should be able to understand the history and evolution of the theories of Human Resource Management, in order to be provided with a solid knowledge base on the issue of organizations, their definition and organizational objectives.
Program
I - Introduction. 1.1 The Organization and its different levels. II - Different Approach to Organizational Theories. III - Analytical Structures: Organizational Metaphors. IV - Organizational Structures. V - Organizational Design. VI - Challenge of contemporary organizations. VII - Presentation "Case Studies," in accordance with the taught theory.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: end-of-module test (60%) and assignment presentation (48%). Requirement: minimum of 50% of overall mark in each component.
Examination: final written test
