Objectives
The purpose of this chair is the Strategic Management of Organizations. It is intended to clarify the concept of Strategy, Strategic Process and Strategic Planning, as well as to transmit the evolution of the deliberate and emerging concepts, models and practices of Strategic Management. It is intended, therefore, that students
i) identify and analyze, in the context, the strategy of an organization, the processes by which it is formulated, planned and / or formed and the roles of the stakeholders, and interpret the respective implications, being prepared to participate intelligently in the strategic process.
ii) Students must promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization (9: Innovation and infrastructure) as well as strengthen scientific research, improve the technological capabilities of industrial sectors by encouraging innovation (9: Innovation and Infrastructure).
iii) Students should encourage the adoption of sustainable practices and integrate information on sustainability (12: Sustainable Production and Consumption).
A review of the Theory of Organizations will be proposed, in order to enable a final and capable study of the Strategic Process in different organizational contexts.
It is intended that students be able to identify and analyze, in context, the strategy of an organization, the processes by which it is formulated, planned and / or formed and the roles of stakeholders, and interpret their implications, being prepared to participate intelligently in the strategic process.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous evaluation:
- a group work, which will focus on the elaboration of a scientific article that will be presented and presented (80%);
- a written test, at the end of the Course (20%).

Students whose classification is equal to or greater than 10 points are exempt from the exam.

Assessment by Exam:
-elaboration of a scientific article
