Objectives
Equip the student to: understand the importance of the relationship between events and tourism; interpret basic concepts associated with the areas of tourism and event organization and management; acquire skills to participate in the organization and execution of a tourist event; plan an event.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment:
1st - Work #1 (individual): Organization of an event / Report - (50% of the final grade)*;
2nd - Work #2 (group): Carrying out an event (50% of the final grade);
- Periodic Assessment**: Attendance test (60%) + Event plan presentation (40%);
- Final Assessment: Written exam (100%)
* The student must achieve a minimum grade of 7 to continue under the periodic assessment;
** Type of assessment reserved for students enjoying special status.
