Objectives
Students should be able to identify and characterise the basic concepts in the field of health and safety at work in order to manage working relationships based on preventive actions to maintain the quality of life of employees.

Program
1. Security Awareness
2. Equipment with a display
3. Risk assessment
4. Safety for managers
5. Environmental issues
6. Manual handling safety
7. Fire safety
8. Safety when handling dangerous substances and preparations

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: Case studies and operational tasks 60%, midterm test: 40%.
Minimum mark for exemption from final assessment: 10 grade points.
Final assessment: written exam.
Minimum mark for passing the final assessment: 10 grade points.

All classes are theoretical-practical and interactive, with an emphasis on presentation and discussion of cases and tasks developed by the students.
