Prerequisites
Objectives
Acquisition of construction management (CM) skills supported by BIM methodology, at the level of:
A- 3D, 4D and 5D BIM domains;
B - simulation processes adapted to KM;
C- acquisition of interdisciplinary coordination concepts;
D - project specifications and construction documents
Program
1- Introduction to integrated construction management.
2- Use of BIM tools in the following activities:
2.1- Production of drafts and detailed drawings.
2.2- Coordination of design elements of the different specialties.
2.3- Construction management: 4D and 5D BIM.
3- Characteristics of a BIM model to support construction management.
4- Integration of information in BIM models.
Evaluation Methodology
Assessment is based on practical work.
Eligibility to the exam: students with a mark higher than 9.5 (out of 20) are exempted from taking the exam.
Exam: written test.
